Handmade Ceramic Urn with Vase Lid – 7 Litre Capacity
A generous, hand-built vessel adorned with imagined blooms — designed to hold an abundance of memory and meaning.

• Total height (with lid): 39 cm

• Main body (without lid): 27 cm tall × 27 cm wide

• Lid–vase piece: 14.5 cm tall × 15.5 cm wide

• Urn opening diameter: 10 cm

Capacity:

• 7 litres
  (A large urn suitable for 1 or 2 full sets of adult ashes, ashes in their original bag, or with space to include small memorial items.)

Design & Features:

• This urn is composed of two handmade ceramic pieces:

  1. The main vessel

  2. A vase-style lid that can be secured and sealed if desired

• There is no inner stopper; however, the lid sits securely at the opening to close the urn.

• A small floral posy may be placed in the lid–vase using a wet bag, which allows flowers to be changed without removing the lid if sealed

• The lid may also be used to hold a battery-operated candle for a soft, illuminated tribute

  • Please take care if using real candles – never leave them unattended

• The decoration features an imaginary bloom Dream Daisies — whimsical, hand-painted flowers inspired by orange daisies imagined during the creative process

• This piece offers a warm and hopeful visual language for remembering a loved one with individuality and imagination

Optional Personalisation:

• A single name or word may be added in gold lustre for an additional $120 AUD

• There is no fixed location for personalisation, so script placement will be discussed and agreed upon after purchase

• Please note: I may respectfully decline to add wording if it is considered inappropriate or offensive 

Materials & Craftsmanship:

• Hand-built and hand-painted stoneware ceramic, fired to Cone 6

• Decorated with various underglazes and glazes, and fully glazed inside for a watertight and durable finish

• Signed and dated by the artist on the base

• Handwashing recommended; for maintenance, dust gently with a soft cloth

Sealing & Ash Transfer:

• This urn can be sealed with silicone, permanent adhesive, or museum wax or putty for a semi-permanent seal

• Information on transferring ashes and sealing will be included with your purchase
