Design & Features:

• This urn is made up of three handcrafted ceramic components:

  1. A beautifully formed main vessel

  2. A flat-seating lid stopper to close the urn

  3. A separate vase topper, which can rest on the lid or be used on its own

• The vase is watertight and may hold a small posy with water, or function as a candle holder

  • Battery-operated candles are recommended; real candles should never be left unattended

• The surface is hand-decorated with lively and expressive red and pinky-toned poppies, along with soft blue chicory flowers, evoking a wild garden in bloom

Materials & Craftsmanship:

• Made from hand-built, hand-painted stoneware ceramic, fired to Cone 6

• Glazed both inside and out – fully watertight and suitable for long-term use

• Decorated with a combination of underglazes and glazes

• Each piece is signed and dated by the artist on the base

• Handwashing is recommended; for dusting, use a soft cloth

Sealing & Ash Transfer:

• The urn may be sealed permanently or semi-permanently using silicone, museum wax/putty, or a suitable adhesive

• A guide to transferring ashes and sealing the urn will be included with your purchase
