This piece is a rare SECOND grade offering. During final firing a section of the decorated surface delaminated and flaked off. I have removed loose material sanded the edges of the area and applied a 2pac epoxy to heal the area that is approx 4cm wide. The structural integrity of the vase has NOT beenaltered, the vase is glazed inside and fully watertight.
